Contrick aka Connor Bentley is a professional Open Format DJ with over 15 years of experience behind the decks and a decade running bars and nightclubs in the North East. Four years ago, he transitioned to full time DJing, quickly establishing himself as a dynamic performer capable of energizing any crowd with his versatile style.

He began his DJ career in Middlesbrough, playing venues such as Macy Browns Cocktail Bar and SOHO Nightclub, before expanding to larger cities like Leeds and Newcastle. Today, Contrick holds residencies at Be At One Newcastle and Neon Cactus Leeds, where his signature blend of open format music keeps dance floors packed.

With an intuitive understanding of music and its many styles, Contrick excels at reading the room and seamlessly transitioning between genres, ensuring every event feels alive from start to finish. His natural stage presence and passion for music make him a sought-after DJ for bars, clubs, private parties, and corporate events.

In addition to nightlife, Contrick has worked on corporate events, including clients such as Wingstop, bringing energy and excitement to site openings and special occasions. While skilled across all genres, he has a particular love for tech house, drawing inspiration from artists like Dom Dolla, Solomun, Fisher, and Maceo Plex. He also takes annual trips to Ibiza to stay inspired, visiting iconic venues such as Hi, Pacha, and Ushuaïa.
