From the tourist hotspots on the Greek island of Skiathos to the bustling nightlife of the UK, Alex Monzardo has been lighting up dancefloors for over a decade. An open format DJ who is capable of playing a diverse range of genres from pop, commercial, R&B and straight up House and EDM, Alex learnt his craft on that idyllic Aegean Island.

Growing up on the island itself gave Alex all the opportunities to pursue a career behind the decks. Discovering the bars and clubs that would be a constant feature of his life as a young teenager, he switched from a formal education in music to become one of the most in-demand resident DJs on the scene.

Playing to a crowd predominantly made up of international visitors is the perfect proving ground for any DJ wishing to learn the craft. The constantly shifting dynamics of the dancefloor require a fluid approach to mixing that can only be learnt in the cauldron of tourist nightclubs. As that skill evolved and the opportunities to grow beyond a tourist DJ were limited, Alex needed to test himself further afield.

Fast forward to 2020 and Alex realised his dream by announcing his arrival on the London scene. Spinning at countless locations throughout the epicentre of UK clubbing, Alex continues to apply his knowledge of open format DJing to an ever-growing audience. His raw energy and faultless mixing learnt in the sun-kissed atmosphere in Skiathos is an incredible addition to the UK dance landscape and he is undoubtedly a DJ to watch as his reputation grows.
